Contributing to excellent quality from the technological point of view, is the choice of the construction materials: Caleido only uses carbon steel purchased from a certified supply chain that allows us to bring the product warranty to 5 years, as well as to meet specific customer requirements, such as ad hoc or custom configurations.
The purpose of this section, with respect to the hydraulic radiators, is to demonstrate that the Caleido products are extremely flexible and easy to install in any context, in the case of new constructions as well as when there is the need to restore old buildings with existing systems.
The radiator systems are very simple to use, thanks to their domestic diffusion and familiarity of any installer, thus requiring only a few steps during the pre-installation, such as, for example, a study of the sizing which is going to define, among the various parameters, the thermal insulation, the exposure, the position of the radiators, and the size of the pipes.
The flexibility of the system allows any type of users to tailor the radiators to their needs, from the technical point of view and based on the arrangement of the furniture, leaving total freedom to the customers to make any aesthetic choice.
The heat outputs indicated by Caleido, where the UNI EN 442 logo appears, have been calculated in accordance with the European Union, which established the technical institutes test chambers criteria for Watt certification.
The tests were performed at the laboratories of the Politecnico di Milano which certified the yields and verified the product quality compliance with the highest European standards.
The hydraulic radiators, whether towel heaters or furnishing radiators, are composed of collector pipes (mainly 2) and emitter pipes (from a minimum of 8-9 to a maximum of 70, depending on the pipe diameter).
Caleido produces radiators with two different production techniques depending on whether they are heaters with emitter pipes braze-welded in an oven at the collectors, or heaters with emitter pipes projection-welded with current discharges over the collectors.
The designer radiators belong to the 'Fine Design', 'Art Radiators by Karim Rashid' and 'Methacrylates' collections. The Caleido radiators can be used in the hydraulic, electric or mixed version.
The aim is to meet the most diverse needs, always taking into careful consideration the fact that each country has specific characteristics from the installation point of view and in the energy sector.
The hydraulic version consists of the installation of a radiator connected to a heating system powered by a boiler or by a heat pump.
Boilers usually produce water at 75°C approximately, which enters the heater and then goes back into the boiler at 65°C approximately. The water flow incoming the radiator is adjusted by an inlet valve, sometimes accompanied by a special thermostatic head, while the outgoing water flow is adjusted by a holder.
Radiators are supplied with a kit for wall mounting, a blanking plug and air vent.
Valves and fittings are not part of the standard supply: they are, therefore, accessories to be ordered separately.
In the 'General Terms and Conditions', listed in the last pages of the Price lists, are specified the guidelines that should be followed for proper installation, maintenance and operation of the radiators in the hydraulic version.
